Headteacher Welcome Message

Welcome to Siddington C of E. We are a small, rural Church of England school that sits on tranquil grounds. We have a large area dedicated to Forest School where the children experience a holistic education lead by our very own qualified FS teacher. The children develop skills of independence, teambuilding, communication as well physical strength. Within this space, there is an outside classroom area where the children enjoy reading with their peers. We have a purpose-built running track that provides a great space for the daily mile. Children are taught PE by a specialist and participate with competitive events at Deer Park secondary school. As the school grows, we are making links with local artists who will join us in our journey to put our school on the map.

In July 2022, Ofsted rated our school, Good. They said:

The personal, social, health and economic curriculum educates pupils to become a responsible citizen of the future. Pupils learn about both the school and British values which reinforces their understanding of democracy, respect, compassion and tolerance. The focus on oracy helps pupils to debate a range of topics in a measured way.

The children chose to use the parable of the Good Samaritan to represent our school vision. We value caring for ourselves and others. This culture is evident as you walk around our school. We are responsible, kind and safe.

My vision for Siddington C of E is a school underpinned by its Christian values, which is an ethos driven by high expectations from both staff and pupils. We foster a culture of shared responsibility where everyone has a role to play and is committed to giving our children the absolute best education.

If you would like to come and visit our family school, please contact the school office to make an appointment.
